Sarah Tomczak: I want to sashay out of the kitchen with a platter of freshly baked scones… in five-inch heels and a push-up bra. My lips will be scarlet, my pencil skirts a little snug, yet my bed linen crisply white and my homegrown blooms artfully arranged. Forget the dilemma that faced the females of the 60s – “will I be perfectly prim Jackie Kennedy or lusciously languorous Marilyn Monroe?” – I’m a thoroughly modern woman and I want to have it all!
